'I think that it is important to learn a foreign language when you are young, because it might be harder to pick up when you are older.  It is also fun to learn a foreign language, and you might choose to carry on with it when you go to University.  It is good to learn languages from abroad like French, as it is useful if you travel to that country for your holidays.  You also learn about a different culture and way of life.'
